Hello one and all and welcome to my news page. Here you can see me as my two alter egos the ever efficient secretary
Prudie Jones, Evette the Spivette and plain old little me as you catch up with all that is current in my world. Regrettably
unlike Prudie my spelling is quite frightful at the best of times due to my dyslexia so I shall apologise now for anything
which might be shamefully mis-spelt. In the mean time I hope you find this page fun, entertaining and informative and become
a regular visitor to my site.

For those of you who have been following me you will know I’ve been working really hard with 2012 being one of my most creative years. This month you can find me in The Best of British magazine on page 66 and 54 and also in The Chap magazine on page 12. I’ve been working very closely with my web-designer on my branding and it’s lovely to see some of my idears and designs take shape. I’m sure many of you will have already noticed the new contact and social media tabs on my web-site and also the changes to my 1940s page with the embeded videos and extra photos. I’m slowly starting to get to grips with Pintrest which is great for anyone who loves looking at pictures. It’s very me as my spelling is shameful at the best of times and a much better way of shareing my costumes with you all. I’ve done 8 photo shoots this year alone and it’s really exciting to see my web-pages build and the web-site take shape. Ofcause I’ve been out and about a fair bit too having done 3 We’ll Meet Again shows this week and with the run up to Halloween I need to patice my Wichy Poo songs. I’m pleased to say some very nice jobs have already come in for next year and yes I will be at Chatham next year and also at Great Central Railway too. Next month I will be at Woburn Abbey on the 15th performing at a Vintage Fair taking place in the Sculture Gallery so watch this space and I will tell you a bit more about that nerer the time. My disk came through today from Thursday’s 1940s knit wear shoot. I’ve already posted quite a few of the photos on facebook and Pintrest and it’s great to read all your coments so thanks for following. I shall sign off now as I still have a few e-mails to do but thanks for Watching and do check out my new photos. Bye for Now!

Today is my birthday and my brother brought home the most beautiful kitten on Monday as by way of a Birthday present. He is a brown tabby and I have named him Tigger as he is full of bounce. I also recived Bees disk of photos from Fridays shoot today which was just great and very exciting. While we were on the shoot we had a visit from a local tabby cat and I guess this is how Tigger will look when he grows up. At the moment Tigger is everywhere running up the curtains and this morning he came up to see me in bed and played that game where kittens jump on your feet as you move them under your covers, before settleing down and laying across my chest. I’m afraid I’ve just had to take him down stairs as he was trying to bite through the wires of my computer just a minute ago and I don’t want him to get electracuted! Today I had hoped to meet up with my friend Amy for lunch but sadly her son was taken ill so she wasn’t able to make it. That was a real shame as I had been so looking forward to seeing her and having a girly birthday natter. Amy’s birthday is on the 11th Oct where mine is on the 10th and it would have been great to have caught up, so heres to the next time and I hope Jake gets well soon! This morning I had an appointment with my web-designer and for those of you who have been following my web-site you will notice we have been making lots of suttle up dates and changes. I have now had my 40s show reel embeded and we have also made it easer to follow and book me by clicking onto the side tabs. So if you get the chance do take a look www.fionaharrison.biz. When I tried it earler I couldn’t get my You Tube button to work but it might be my computer as it does do funny things somethimes so if you get a chance do try the botton out as we have moved it to the left. In the mean time I will post up some of the photos Bee very kindly sent me from the 18th centry photo shoot on my Facebook page and I will also have a go at pining a few to Pintrest but I still think I’m doing it a bit wrong! Thank-you everyone for my lovely cards and Joe for those beautiful peach roses they are quite perfect!
I had better get on with some work now and thank-you for your many Birthday Wiishes. My mother bought me a fantastic book on 1930s fashion and I can’t wait to have a read of it tonight. Toodle Pip and Keep Watching! ;->

Today I have been trying to get to grips with Pintrest but I have a feeling I’m still putting my web-site in the wrong place and I can’t remember how to put it in the right place! Still I’m learning and I have lots of great photos to pin up but I guess these things just take time. I’ve been catching up with e-mails today too and I’m looking forward to clearing my desk and sitting down to watching Downton Abbey tonight. What a wonderful program Downton is although I can’t get over Sir Anthony walking out on Lady Edith and we all thought him such a gentleman too! I’ve rather grown to like lady Edith where Sybil had always been my favourite before. But quite frankly if anyone had jilterd a sister of mine at the aulter I would have been the first to have jumped up and punch the scoundral on the nose! Maybe I would have made for the perfect militant suffragette had I have been born back then. In the mean time I hope all comes right at Downton and if Lady Edith finds that wedding dress too painful to look at I would be more than pleased to take it off her hands. I just loved it with the cross over back and train. I think that satin was Dutchess satin, but what ever it was it was quite beautiful. So I shall sign off now and settle down to a bit of Antques Roadshow and ofcourse wonderful Downton Abbey! Toodle Pip! And do Keep Watching as I hope to have the new photos here in the next few days! ;->

For those of you who have been following my blog you will know I’ve had a really busy week with shows and two location photo shoots back to back. Today has been a day were I’ve rather let myself go and enjoyed some time not having to rush off any-where. How unsual is that, although I do have 100s of e-mails to catch up on so please do bear with me as I’m working my way through them and I will answer you all! Well it’s been a great two days and I know I have some fantastic shots to show you so do keep watching my facebook pages and I will post some of the shots as soon as they come through. I was up at Pitstone Museum on Thursday doing 1940s knit wear and the weather was just perfect so I hope to have those photos for you by Wednesday, fingers crossed! The photographer I worked with on this shoot is curently away doing a Wedding fair, so as soon as Colin comes back I know he will drop round the photos – So watch this space! In the mean time this is one of Colin’s shots taken jast September and many of you will reconise it from my Evette the Spivette page. Friday’s shoot was quite different as I went all 18th centrey and I had the pleasure of working with Bee and Dave Jackson. Bee has already posted two of the shots on my personal Facebook page and I can’t waite to see the others. It took quite a while to get me all corseted up and I can’t tell you how tired I was by the end but even though I’ve not seen the photos yet I know they will be fantastic as Bee and Dave are great photographers. It’s wonderful to be able to record my costumes and belive me I’ve still plenty more yet unseen and unphotographed so do Keep Watching! Toodle Pip and Bye for Now!
