Hello one and all and welcome to my news page. Here you can see me as my two alter egos the ever efficient secretary
Prudie Jones, Evette the Spivette and plain old little me as you catch up with all that is current in my world. Regrettably
unlike Prudie my spelling is quite frightful at the best of times due to my dyslexia so I shall apologise now for anything
which might be shamefully mis-spelt. In the mean time I hope you find this page fun, entertaining and informative and become
a regular visitor to my site.

One of my favourite colours is green and certanly when it comes to doing Christmas shows Green seems to suit very well. This is one of my favourite dresses which I bought to go with theses original 1940s shoes. The only snag is they are a little on the big side and I can’t really walk in them but then that’s just a detail. Only women reading this blog will understand, but there are a few times in a girls life when you see something you really love and then all sence flies out the window and well you just have to make it work. I gess this is one of those moments! I just slip them on before I do my show and then hay pesto off I go. I know I shouldn’t admit to this but by the end of the show I’m really kind of glad to take them off but I do love them so! Shoes they really are my down fall! If I had been the lucky winner of that lottery ticket that no one claimed I think one of the things I’d do apart from the overers things is have all my shoes made for me and yes I would have these ones copied and made to fit perfectly. How wonderful would that be – Oh while I’m dreaming I’d also get my blue ones remade which broke the other day too! Apart from all this nonsence about shoes I have been very busy with Christmas shows and today I start on my two shows daily. I’ve also been trying to get all my Christmas cards done but it just seems to be a never ending job I can’t seem to get on top of so please forgive me if your Christmas card arrive late this year but I am trying very had to get them all done. Must dash as I need to get ready for my show. Keep Watching and I hope you love my green shoes as much as I do. Thanks for following and Toodle Pip for Now!

It’s been a busy weekend one way and another with Christmas Shows plus Hedna’s Vintage Night Club on Saturday night and today I’ve been working over in Aylesbury only to get back just in time to see The South Beds Concert Band play at Tilsworth Church. I’m going to be singing with the concert band next year in March so I start rehursals with them in the new year – something I’m looking forward to very much indeed! They put together a wonderful program of Christmas tunes but one peice of music they played I found really moving was “Redemption” by Rossano Galante. It kind of sounded fimila and I’m sure it’s been used in a film but don’t ask me what! It was just wonderful to hear the swell of intraments and to listen to a peice of music which used all the individual voices of the band perfectly. It was beautiful I loved it! They also played “A Christmas Festival” which were popular Christmas tunes aranged by Leroy Anderson. I’ve always been a fan of Leroy Anderson’s music from when I was quite small. Durring my dancing days I was always chrographing dances to his music. Later I went on to chorograph quite a few shows on the Am Dram circit and even now I still like to do my own thing on the dance front. I guess it all stems from Leroy Anderson and Russan composers! Saturday night I had the pleasure of listening to Luna Nightingale at Hedna’s. Luna has a wonderful vocal tone which I just adore and I look forward to following her carear with great intrest. My partner Mike really enjoyed Hedna’s as it was his first time and mine too really as I only made half a Hedna before. Last time I came on from doing a show in London so it was lovely to be there for the whole durration this time. Here’s to the next one! Right Monday tomorrow and no more putting it off I really must knuckle down and get on with my Christmas cards. I feel so behind with everything this year although I did do my Christmas shopping back in October! Christmas cards always seem to be the thing that breaks the camels back – don’t you think? Gosh just seen the time and I must get to bed. I’m singing in Beaconsfield tomorrow with 9 shows booked in for the week. Must dash thanks for following and Toodle Pip!

For those of you who have been following my blogs you will know I’ve been on the road non stop performing my Christmas Show “Rocking Around the Christmas Tree”. Today I’ve been singing over in Watford and tomorrow will be a busy one as I have two shows to do + a longer performance planned in the evening for a customer who wanted something a little different. I’ve also had lots of appointments to keep and a few days ago I met up with my web desingner. It’s so intresting going through all the analitic dater and I had no idea just how many of you follow me from outside the UK. So hello to all my international followers and sorry for the bad spelling! Apart from the UK my largest following seems to be in the United States followed by Israel which surprised me rather, then France, Germany, The Netherlands and Russia. I also have a few people in Canada and Australia. So hello to all of you and thank-you for following me I’m so pleased you enjoy my blogs and I guess with the modern age and the internet one really is goble! I recived a really lovely e-mail the other day asking me to sing at a drinks reception in Dublin for New Years eve but I’m already booked – but I am available for New Years Eve 2013. In fact 2013 is filling up nicely and even though I’ve been on the road I’ve sold five dates today plus a posible return visit to The Bugatti Club for 2013. The gentleman who books me for The Bugatti Club lives in Seattle so that really is international! Ofcourse I will go anywhere in the world and it’s a shame I couldn’t do Dublin this year as Ireland is one place I’ve not been to so I hope in the future I will have the opertunity to perform there! For those of you who like to look at my web-site you will be pleased to know I’m having lots of new up dates made to my fashion page in the next couple of weeks which will make that page much more intresting. I’ve done 8 photo shoots this year all in prep for the building of the new pages and next year I will be pushing ahead with my 1920s and 30s pages but I may have to wait until the Sping before I can get the car shots done! The re-anactment scene is changing and we all need to move on so I have lots of new ideas I’m exsporing at the mo. Thanks for following and do watch this space as I will keep you posted. Toodle Pip and Bye for Now!

It’s just a very quick blog tonight as I’m well into my Christmas shows now and I need to get some rest. Already I’ve been to Sandy and Milton Keynes and tomorrow I’m in Wing, Wendover and Milton Keynes so lots of singing. I’ve also been on the hunt for new Navy Blue shoes and I have to say some of Clarks styles this season are really working with the 40s and 1920s looks! Needless to say they didn’t have my size so I have had to order a pair but I was able to pick up a lovely Burgandy coloured pair of lace ups which will go well with a very smart suit of mine. Not what I went into the shop for but I couldn’t resist and at those prices you can’t complain! Sorry one and all but I’m really tired so I shall call it a night. Thanks for following and mybe in a day or two I will be able to get back to Blogging and telling you all my news! Toodle Pip and Bye for Now!
