All Set For Sand and Motorcycles!
Hello every-one it’s just a very quick blog tonight as I wanted to let you all know you can catch me on stage this weekend performing for The National Trust at Wimpole Hall, Arrington, Royston, Cambridgeshire on Saturday at 11.30am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm. I will also be performing in the evening at the Halls 1940s dance so if you are about it will be delightful to see you all. During the day I only have 3 x 15 minute 1940s sets to do so I’m looking forward very much to seeing a little of the house with Paul and learning about its history.
Off to Wimpole Hall!
For those of you who follow me will know I’ve been working hard on building a new 1950s and 60s page for my web-site and I expect many of you have already seen the new cut out photos I had taken earlier this year. Rachel has just embeded my new 1950s and 60s showreels into the page and I’m partially proud of my “Johnny B Goode” video which was such fun to make. If you haven’t seen it yet just click onto https://www.fionaharrison.biz/1950s-60s and you can pick up my new films there and also on my facebook page too!
For those of you who like the music of the 1950s and 60s you will be pleased to know I will be performing at Pages Park, Billington Road, Leighton Buzzard on Sunday for The Sand and Motorcycles event. In fact the theme this year is WW1 although I will be performing music from WW1 through to 1960 over the course of day at 11.15am, 1.15pm and 3.15pm. I will be mixing my music up over the 3 x 45 minute sets so once again I hope you can all make it along. The event is being organised by The Leighton Buzzard Narrow Gauge Railway and the best bit is it’s free! So I look forward to seeing you.
I really must dash now as I have my show plans to do and I have another busy day tomorrow. I’m in the hair dresses all morning tomorrow getting ready for the cameras for next weekend plus I have a singing lesson in the afternoon in Welwyn Garden City. Then I have arranged for a dress fitting in the evening so it’s all go!
Keep Watching and Toodle Pip! 😉
