Between Shows at The Pavilion, Peterborough!
It’s just a very quick blog tonight as I get ready to go away for Christmas and the New Year. 2018 has been a fantastic year and I think at the last count I will have clocked up a staggering 280 shows. 2019 is already looking promising with 100 show dates sold so far plus I have much of the year already mapped out with much of Easter already sold out.
Internationally speaking there is still a lot of uncertainty about Brexit and quite where this is going to leave me after March with my European customers I’m not too sure at all. However I will keep plodding on and I’m very excited about my new shows. It’s straight into rehearsals with “My Fair Lady” after Christmas and my head is buzzing with all sorts of musical ideas for next years “Fairy Tale Christmas Spectacular”. I want my new arrangements to take on a symphonic sound as we pull together all the elements of a full orchestra. I’ve a lot going on in my head as I spend much of my

down time humming tunes thinking how I’m going to bridge one song into another. It’s all very inspiring as anything is possible!
You may have caught in one of my other blogs that next March I will be working for the Variety Club of Great Britain at Brinsworth House with fellow entertainer Lynda Styan. Oddly enough we got a last minute call to perform there a few days ago. Lynda and I both had other engagements with this being the Christmas season only to find out the day they wanted us to perform was the day of Meghan Markle’s royal visit. Even if we had

known she was coming we still couldn’t have done it as I was booked to perform in Peterborough. I guess it’s the story of my life – I never ever seem to be in the right place at the right time!
This will be my last blog for 2018 as I head off on Christmas Eve after my show down to Porchester. I hope to make it for midnight mass at St Mary’s Church. I have a few shows in the area and Paul has tickets for us to see the Ballet and to visit the 1940s Alresford railway. We will be seeing the New Year in at the Hilton and my shows continue through to the 5th January 19.
Thank-you every-one for your support, business, cards and good wishes and I look forward to catching up with you all in the New Year when I promise to share all my news and photos of my time away. In the mean time I shall leave you with my Christmas photos and a link to my new video Loch Lomond. Something Scottish for the New Year.
