Out and About in Wendover!
It’s just a very quick blog tonight to let you know I’m off first thing Saturday morning to sing for Blaenau Ffestiniog’s Vintage Car show and 1940s day on the 30th July. Paul and I also have a 1920s 30s show to do on the Saturday evening at the Bridge Cafe in the heart of the town so if you live in and around Blaenau it will be delightful to see you. Paul and I had the pleasure of singing for the event last year and we are keeping everything crossed for good weather. Wales is well known for it’s rain!
I haven’t as yet had my show times confirmed but as it stands our Saturday night show “Putting on the Ritz” at The Bridge Cafe will begin at 7.30pm and will consist of 2 x 45 minute sets. Then on Sunday at 10.30am I shall be opening with an American US WAC show followed at 1pm with my schools ATS show which will be encouraging lots of audience participation from the children. My final show of the day will be an American glamour show and I will be singing with my new

track of “It’s Magic”. I tried it out today for the second time and it went down really well with the audience so I hope the Blaenau audience will enjoy it just as much.
I’ve had a busy week, out every-day performing a variety of different shows. Tomorrow I’m booked to singing for a Hawaiian BBQ which will be something a little different and a first for me. To-day I was performing in Chalfont St Peter and stopped off for lunch at the Lady Grey Tea rooms in Wendover. Wendover is one of my favorite haunts especially the Antiques center and the shop Liberty Rose who make handmade gifts

and sell lovely vintage trimmings. Sue Kavanagh who’s shop it is was busy today at her sewing machine getting ready to have a stall at The Countryfile Live event at Blenheim Palace which is taking place from 3rd – 6th Aug so we wish her well with that.
That’s all my news for now as I must get to bed.
Keep Watching and Toodle Pip!
