Hello one and all and welcome to my news page. Here you can see me as my two alter egos the ever efficient secretary
Prudie Jones, Evette the Spivette and plain old little me as you catch up with all that is current in my world. Regrettably
unlike Prudie my spelling is quite frightful at the best of times due to my dyslexia so I shall apologise now for anything
which might be shamefully mis-spelt. In the mean time I hope you find this page fun, entertaining and informative and become
a regular visitor to my site.

Have you ever had one of those days when something doesn’t feel quite right but you can’t quite put your finger on it. It’s been a bit that way for me today. I’ve been out and about getting my van fixed and in the end I needed a new tie rod and exsorst so with the four new ties that came to just under £600. Ouch! When I went back to the garage just as I was crossing to go into the office a van started to reverse back into me. It’s just as well I’m quick on my feet as I could have been knocked down. Thank goodness I’m fit – another one of my nine lives gone! I really enjoyed yesterdays show – I was singing at The Harrow and Edgeware Jewish Centre with my Don’t Sit Under the Apple Tree show and as most of my arangements have a strong Jewish infulance it couldn’t have gone better. My next show isn’t until the 29th but I have much paper work to sort out before I hit the Christmas season proply. Ofcourse the big treat will be the Chaps Ball on the 1st and the chance to go somewhere and not to have to entertain others but to be entertained ones self is something I’m looking forward to very much. I don’t have any shows this weekend which will feel a bit strange but I do need the rest and I want to get my accounts tidy before the new year. Gosh so much to do and 35 shows booked in for December. I also have a radio interview to do next week so I will keep you posted and let you know more about that nerer to the date. Thanks for following and Toodle Pip!

We’ll that little break soon went and I was back to work today performing the first of my “Rocking Around the Christmas Tree” shows. To be honest I wasn’t sure if I would remember all the words as it has been 11 months since I last performed it but I did – so my memory clicked in fine thank goodness! I think the song I enjoyed the most was Ave Maria. I often get asked to sing it at Weddings but it suits the Christmas show exstreamly well I think and was very well reciced – although I’m a little worried about my new Christmas medley. Richard has done a fantastic job on the arangement only I think he may have done too good a job. It’s so clever people don’t sing along they listen more which wasn’t the reaction I was after. Maybe it’s me and because it’s new I haven’t beded it in right yet in performance so watch this space and I shall let you know how I get on – it is a wonderful arrangement though! Tomorrow I will be in Edgeware performing my “Don’t Sit Under the Apple Tree show before getting set for Didcot’s Street Fair – Oh and while I think about it I must have a tidy and sort myself out for December’s run of shows! Gosh so much to do! I have a few numbers that need to be down loaded to my net book and Ipad not that I ever use it as it’s far too much trouble (A bit like me I guess ha ha but I do like to keep things up to date). I must dash as I’m feeling tired and I need to get some beauty sleep and boy do I need it! I should have spent more time resting instead of looking round the Vintage fashion shops! Naughty me! Toodle Pip and Bye for Now!

It’s been all go this weekend and in fact I haven’t stopped for the last two weeks with shows and appointments. Perhaps it wont come as any surpise to learn I’m in need of a little rest before I start on my Chritmas shows and can you belive it they begin for me next Wednesday! Gosh where does the time go to! This weekend I have been singing at Aces High Art Gallery in Wendover. They were holding a special signing where people could have their art work signed by WW2 Veteran fighter pilots both British, American and German. Some people even brought bits of air craft to sign along with models. It was quite exstorinary to see some of the artifacts people brought along and truly wonderful to meet so many lovely people! I need to get to bed as I’ve decided to have a few days away and I need to get an early night. I must get my feathers straight again! My next blog probably wont happen untill after Wednesday so thanks for following and do Keep Watching! Toodle Pip and Bye for Now!

Well it’s been another busy day but a very rewarding one. Today I have been singing at Woburn Abbey for a Vintage Christmas Fair and what a lovely event it was too! It’s hard to belive it but over the course of the day I sung my way through 53 numbers not including my medley arrangements – all brocken up into 20 min sets as I did 20 mins on and 20 mins off. Phew! It’s been a really enjoyable day and it was lovely to see so many friends so thank-you ever-so for comming to hear me sing – it was wonderful to see you all. Needless to say there were lots of lovely things to buy from vintage dresses to beautiful lace and I can see why the Sculpture Gallery at Woburn Abbey is such a popular location for a Wedding. I don’t know if it was just because I was tired or weather it was the fog but when it came to going home I took the wrong turning comming out of the estate and I sort of went home via Flitwick and Toddington! How embarssing is that! How could I lose the Duke of Bedford’s long wall? All I have to do is follow it and it kind of points you to Leighton Buzzard! Silly me! In the end I had to put my sat nav on – really! I’m never going to live this one down! I shall put it down to needing something to eat! This weekend I shall be doing a simular singing thing at Aces High Art Gallery in Wendover Sat and Sunday. I also have a “We’ll Meet Again show to do in Berkhampsted on Saturday night too so busy busy! We’ll I think I shall get an early night – Oh before I forget and just in case you were wondering I wore the green suit in the end as pictured but with red acceraries and my special Christmas broach. I felt the other suit was too manly. Thanks for Following, Do Keep Watching and Toodle Pip!
