We’ll that little break soon went and I was back to work today performing the first of my “Rocking Around the Christmas Tree” shows. To be honest I wasn’t sure if I would remember all the words as it has been 11 months since I last performed it but I did – so my memory clicked in fine thank goodness! I think the song I enjoyed the most was Ave Maria. I often get asked to sing it at Weddings but it suits the Christmas show exstreamly well I think and was very well reciced – although I’m a little worried about my new Christmas medley. Richard has done a fantastic job on the arangement only I think he may have done too good a job. It’s so clever people don’t sing along they listen more which wasn’t the reaction I was after. Maybe it’s me and because it’s new I haven’t beded it in right yet in performance so watch this space and I shall let you know how I get on – it is a wonderful arrangement though!
Tomorrow I will be in Edgeware performing my “Don’t Sit Under the Apple Tree show before getting set for Didcot’s Street Fair – Oh and while I think about it I must have a tidy and sort myself out for December’s run of shows! Gosh so much to do!
I have a few numbers that need to be down loaded to my net book and Ipad not that I ever use it as it’s far too much trouble (A bit like me I guess ha ha but I do like to keep things up to date).
I must dash as I’m feeling tired and I need to get some beauty sleep and boy do I need it! I should have spent more time resting instead of looking round the Vintage fashion shops! Naughty me!
