Merry Christmas!
Hello every-one I couldn’t go to bed tonight without first wishing you all a Very Merry Christmas and I wanted to thank you all for your continued support over this last year. I’m amazed by just how many of you follow my blogs as it’s a wonderful way of me keeping you all up to date with everything that’s happening in my world. Sadly I can’t spend too long tonight as I have an early start in the morning. I’ve just got back from performing at Cliveden Manor and tomorrow morning I’m booked to sing at The Macdonald Berystede Hotel in Sunninghill nere Ascot. I’m on stage bright and early at 11am just prior to lunch and I’ve been invited to join the hotel guests for lunch afterwards too. Oddly enough on this occasion I’ve been engaged to perform The Great American Song Book for Christmas Day which I’m looking forward to doing very much. I would have loved to have been at midnight mass tonight but I didn’t get back that early and I’m aware of the time so I shall make this blog a quick one.
Angela Working Her Magic!
Boxing day I’m performing in the village of Much Hadnam and then on Sunday I’m off down to The Watercress Line in Alresford for The Railway Station’s “1940s Home on Leave”event. I have a rare day off on Monday and then shows in Chichester and Hayling Island on the 29th and 30th. Paul and I will be in Bournmouth for New Years Eve and then I’m back up to Aylesbury for a show on the 1st January. I will then be getting set to film on the 24th January with much to do in the recording studio first so do keep watching this space and I shall keep you posted.
My Hair all Set and Ready for Christmas!
This will be my last post for 2015 and I look forward to catching up with you all when I get back in 2016. I will make sure I’ll have lots of photos to share with you of my days away. In the meantime I have left you with a few photos of me this week with Angela in the hairdressers. This season I have been sporting a Lady Rose 1920s 30s hair do. I love this style as it doesn’t require any back combing – Hooray! It will be a different story come the 24th when I sing the 1960s to camera.
Gosh I must go now. Have a lovely Christmas every-one and here’s to a fabulous New Year! Oh I almost forgot but my magazine now has its own page. If you scroll to the contents at the top of this page do click onto my “Vintage Fair Magazine” and you will be able to read all my features.
Toodle Pip and Bye for Now! 😉
