I’m afraid I don’t have a great deal to blog about today other than to say I’ve been out and about doing Easter Bonnet shows again! Tomorrow I’m off bright and early as I have two back to back which will have me playing in Chalfont St Peter and Princess Risbough so early to bed tonight! I’m also in Aylesbury on Saturday and up to Nuneaton on Easter Sunday and then back down to Dowley near High Wycombe on Easter Monday so you could say it’s all go!
Despite being on the road a fair bit these last few weeks I have been able to tie up lots of lose ends. I renewed my passport, taxed both my van and car and got all my electrics PATS tested. It’s amazing just how quickly that year has flown by but it is so important to keep up to date and it’s these little things which marks the difference between an ameter and a professional. I like to know that if I get a call from out of the blue to go aboard I can go at the drop of a hat and all my equitment is in good order and up to scratch! I’ve also found a local sound engineer to help me when I play at Bushey on the 13th and 14th April so I hope you can all make it along. The 40s Family Experience at The Lincolnsfield Centre, Bushey nere Watford always opens the 40s season and I’m looking forward to playing there very much.
In the mean time all that’s left for me to do is to wish you all a Very Happy Easter and thank you for following my news. I have lots of plans for the future which I look forward to sharing with you all soon.
Toodle Pip and bye for now!
