Hello every-one this weekend I have been out and about singing from the 1950s and 60s doing Big Band and Swing and on Monday I was booked to do a “Hooray for Hollywood” Show so it’s been another busy weekend. On Monday I was working with a new sound engineer. He was a little nervous but did a super job. So well done Robin it’s always a bit daunting to start with but you did really well and should feel very proud!
I’m now starting to get everything together for the 31st when I head off to Slough to perform my Halloween show. To be honest I haven’t sung some of these songs for a while so I must do a bit of revision before I put on my Witchy Poo outfit for the 31st! I still haven’t found the perfect Halloween dress not that I’m short of outfits but I really do fancy something in orange. I have a rather nice sparkly spider broach which I bought especially for my Halloween shows so at the moment I am wearing it on red but I think orange would look better!

My Spider Broach! |
Today has been one of those days where I have been tieing up all those lose ends. Taking back library books answering e-mails and sorting out contracts. I also went over to Pitstone today to see my friend Joe who works tirelessly collecting for the Poppy apeal. He is already on his 4th tin and at this time of year he stands outside Masons Stores collecting. A great man and a great friend! Well Done Joe we are all very proud of you!
Tomorrow I’m in Oxford meeting up with my French friends who are here on holiday and then I’m in Warwick at the weekend so lots to do and people to see.
Must dash as I still have lots more paper work to do. Thanks for following and Toodle Pip!
