Sorry I’ve not blogged for a few days but to be honest I’ve been really rushed off my feet with remberance and this week is just as busy if not more so.
For those of you who have been reading my facebook pages you will know I had trouble with my van on Friday and I was brought home from Norfolk by the AA. We thought it was just a puncher and all that was needed was a couple of new tyres. It seems on closer inspection it’s much more serorios. It looks like the van I bought has a bent surspension and has been involed in an acident as the tie rod is bent. That’s why the tyres had worn down and were in the state they were. The AA man said I had a lucky escape and I could have been killed which at the time I thought sounded a bit over dramatic until I saw the state of the tyres! Both had worn down to the metal and one still had rubber shavings still in it where the rod had gouged out the tyre! Also the two new tyres turned into four as the spear tyre also had a puncher and there was a split in one of the rear ones. It also looks like my exsorst is hanging off too so I think we can say I’ve been had over well and truly so now it’s time to kick but!
Despite everything I still kept all my engagements and so far I have been to Sawbridgeworth, Waddesden, Coventry and Marlow so still trucking thanks to Swifty. Thank goodness I kept my car!
Thank-you ever-so to Kim and Simon for Saturday night fantastic job and don’t forget you can see me this Thursday at Woburn Abbey.
