NEWS PAGE & BLOG

Hello one and all and welcome to my news page. Here you can see me as my two alter egos the ever efficient secretary Prudie Jones, Evette the Spivette and plain old little me as you catch up with all that is current in my world. Regrettably unlike Prudie my spelling is quite frightful at the best of times due to my dyslexia so I shall apologise now for anything which might be shamefully mis-spelt. In the mean time I hope you find this page fun, entertaining and informative and become a regular visitor to my site.

Kind Regards

Being Human!

Hello every-one I’m so sorry I’ve not blogged for a few days. It had been my intention to do so last night but to be honest I was so tired after my show I had to go straight to bed! I have been pushing myself really hard. The final count up of shows for 2012 came to 242. Not bad going when you consider I’m doing everything myself and I no longer have management. So a big thank-you to every-one who  booked me in 2012 and for those of you who have re-booked for 2013 don’t worry your contracts are on there way. I just haven’t had time to sit down and do them all yet. I’m still doing new year shows with two more to do tomorrow – then I promise to sit down and catch up with my paper work!
Sometimes I hate to admit I am human! I want to do so much and I have so many plans for the future. Next week I’m making a couple of videos for You Tube and I’ve arranged to be filmed at my local church of All Saints in Leighton Buzzard. All Saints dates from 1200 and something and I think has the 3 tallest spire in England. I’m always popping into the coffee shop after I’ve been to the gym for lunch. My favourite is the home made tea bread Yummy!
On Tuesday I’m going back to my classical roots and singing Ave Maria by the high alter. I’m also going to be recording my Christmas video for 2013 but if you want to know about that you will have to wait untill next Christmas. I know it seems strange doing Christmas videos in Jan but I ‘m always so busy in October and November that I wanted be able to fit filming in as well. The church is looking very pritty at the moment as they keep it dressed for Epiphany on the 6th and right through to Candle Mass on the 2nd Feb so now is the perfect time.
Today I was performing over in High Wycombe for the Knights of St Columba and once again I found myself singing in church. On my way back I popped into Princess Risborough and treated myself to two pairs of beautiful shoes in Wainwrights. How naughty is that! One pair I can wear with trousers and are very practical and the other pair are grey and black paintant leather –  Ever-so Spivettetish! They had them in brown too but I thought “Wants and Needs you have a film to make Miss Harrison” So I left the brown ones – I do love them though!
Well that’s about all my news for now do keep following and I hope to have my Wales at War video up-loaded to You Tube by next Friday – so do keep Watching!
