NEWS PAGE & BLOG

Hello one and all and welcome to my news page. Here you can see me as my two alter egos the ever efficient secretary Prudie Jones, Evette the Spivette and plain old little me as you catch up with all that is current in my world. Regrettably unlike Prudie my spelling is quite frightful at the best of times due to my dyslexia so I shall apologise now for anything which might be shamefully mis-spelt. In the mean time I hope you find this page fun, entertaining and informative and become a regular visitor to my site.

Kind Regards

On the Road Again!

Hello every-one it’s just a quick blog tonight and something of an inbetweeny. If you have been following me you will know  I still have a few more episodes to write about my D-Day tour which I shall continue to do over the next week. However in between times I thought I ought to keep you all up to date with what I’ve got on this weekend.

On Saturday Buckinghamshire Council are staging their Armed Forces Day event at Aylesbury Rugby Club, Weston Turville, HP22 5RN. It’s a big event and usually attracts 20,000 people many of whom are service personal who bring their families so if you are about do come along as the head lining act this year are the Jive Aces. I’ve been booked to preform 3 x 30 minute sets daily at 1pm Main stage, WAAF Show, 2.45pm The NAAFI Marquee, 1940s Glamour show and at 4pm in the WW1 village performing my WW1 show “Pack up Your Troubles”. So I look forward to seeing you all as there will be allsorts going on, stalls, military vehicles, all day entertainment and much more.

Since returning home I haven’t stopped with shows everyday and I’ve also been booked as a guest soprano soloist for a concert of “Songs from the Movies”on the 9th July. I went to the rehearsal on Monday night  and I was thrown in at the deep end and given a whole pile of scores to learn from Mamma Mia, Aladdin, Lion King to James Bond. I have a rehearsal booked for tomorrow to note bash the pieces through with the MD which should be fun so must dash and get to bed.

More news to follow about my Normandy tour soon as I tell you about my shows in Arromanches.

Keep Watching and Toodle Pip!
