NEWS PAGE & BLOG

Hello one and all and welcome to my news page. Here you can see me as my two alter egos the ever efficient secretary Prudie Jones, Evette the Spivette and plain old little me as you catch up with all that is current in my world. Regrettably unlike Prudie my spelling is quite frightful at the best of times due to my dyslexia so I shall apologise now for anything which might be shamefully mis-spelt. In the mean time I hope you find this page fun, entertaining and informative and become a regular visitor to my site.

Kind Regards

A Voice in a Million

Shows, Fashion, Acounts and so much more!

Hello every-one so sorry I didn’t post a blog last night but to be honest I was too tied to do so. I’ve been working really hard and this weekend I am looking forward to having some time off so I can have a bit of a tidy up at home and get ready for the month of May. Once again May is going to be another busy month as I have shows every day up until the 12th which will include some great new venues. I shall be playing for Aces High Art Gallery on the 11th and 12th May for their Dambusters Weekend in Wendover, Bucks so I’m looking forward to doing that one very much. Then I’m off to France for the 17th through to the 20th as I’m booked to play at the Utah Beach Museum in Normandy with shows booked as soon as I get back in the UK taking me through to the 23rd. For the bank holiday I’m hoping to make a couple of new show reels in particular a WW1 music video + a 1920s one so I’m busy trying to co-ordinate everything together. Somehow I need to squeeze in 2 photo shoots and a trip to the recording studio to pick up my new track of  “If you were the only Girl in World” so as you can see I have much to do over the next month.
Today I poped  my acounts into my acountant and on the way I had one of those moments where I couldn’t remember where his offices were. It’s not as if  I hadn’t been there before but for half an hour or so I couldn’t remember. Talk about embarising and then it came to me. That’s because I’ve got so much going on in my head at the mo with all the things I want to do that sometimes I forget about the here and now! Oh Fiona really!
This afternoon I had a look around the shops in Milton Keynes as I love to keep an eye on fashion and very often you can pick out things from the high street which have the 1940s look. Last week I treated myself to a 1950s dress from our wonderful vintage shop Ollie Vees in Leighton Buzzard and I also bought a 1940s/50s original swim suit at the same time which is quite a find. I shall be having some photographs done in that later this year so watch this space and I shall post when done. In the mean time I’ve been thinking alot about how I can make my web-site better from a media perspective and the ideas are at last starting to flow but more of that later.
Thanks for following and to Wing WI who invited me to sing the 1950s and 60s for them on Wednesday. I really enjoyed performing for you!
Toodle Pip one and all and bye for now!
