All Set For Glasswells!
Once again I’m afraid I can’t spend too long on my blog tonight only because I’m off to Suffolk first thing tomorrow morning and I still have quite a bit of packing to do. This weekend I have a run of shows which will be taking me to Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds. I’ve been engaged by the furniture store Glasswells to sing at their 70th anniversary event which I’m looking forward to doing very much.
Glasswells have two stores and on Saturday I shall be at their Ranelagh Road, Ipswich branch and on Monday in Bury St Edmunds, Newmarket Rd singing from 11am – 4pm, 20 minutes on 20 minutes off all through the day. It should be a good event so if you are in town do pop along to see me as it would be lovely to see you. I belive I may well be singing in a period setting so I can’t wait to see what furniture Glasswells have chosen to represent the years they have been in business. While I’m in town I’ve also shows to do in between times. A 1920s and 30s one tomorrow afternoon on my way over to Ipswich and another one on Sunday too so busy busy!
This week I’ve been out and about performing Pearly queen shows and next week I start on a run of “We’ll Meet Again” ATS shows to tie in with VE Day and the 8th May. This week I also had a long dress fitting appointment with Judi to check on my gowns before I start filming on the 15th and I’m back in the recording studio on the 8th.
I must dash now but I look forward to catching up with you all when I get back next Tuesday.
Keep Watching and Toodle Pip!
