Today I was out driving my new van or should I say Connie as I have given her a name and I think Connie suits her very well. Today I was peforming over in Newport Pagnell so it was nice to take her out for a little run. I filled her up for the first time – she was running practicaly on nothing although tipical me I forgot the dissel cap was on the other side. I think I must have been quite a sight stretching the pump pipe over her bottom and all in ATS uniform too!
Well I’m all packed and ready to head off to Kings Lynn tomorrow. I shall be performing at the Corn Exchange for the RAF so WAAF uniform at the ready and glamour frock too! I also had a late booking come in for another RAF do next Thursday as it’s Battle of Britain time again. I shall then be heading straight off to Sheringham there after so I hope some of you will be able to make it over to see me. If you do do come up and say hello.
