These last few weeks have been non stop and this week I have been working flat out prepping for Chatham and working towards the “Salute to the 40s” event. This year Chatham is pulling out all the stops and any-one who is anyone will be there. They have non stop entertainment and this year I shall be hosting and compering the Spitfire Stage in Museum Square with my friend Madeline Brown. I shall also be performing 3 shows daily and launching my new GI Jive Show so I hope you can all make it along – Check out the link for details www.thedockyard.co.uk/salutetothe40s

I shall be working with The Cinque Ports at 4.00 pm taking us through to the finally- so it will be all systems go and I hope you can all make it along.
What’s rather special about this year is Chatham is the only 1940s event to have successfully pulled off having Lola Lamour, Madeline Brown and myself all together at once on the billing. We are widely recognised as the top three and no other event has ever been able to do that so Chatham is really leading the way here. You can also see The Polka Dot Dolls, Victoria Yellop, Natasha Harper and Mickie Driver + my good friends the The Puttin’ on the Blitz Boys so a fantastic line up! I also have some fabulous new outfits to wear so can’t wait!
Although we are all doing the 40s it’s going to be a bit mad and very Rock and Roll. The Blitz Boys have been booked to play Hednas Vintage Night Club in Milton Keynes Saturday night and they have invited me along. My friend Paul has offered to drive me so there is going to be a real gang of us coming up from Chatham. It’s going to be a bit tight so I may well have to stay in costume and ditch my evening gown for my Evette the Spivette trouser suit. But what ever I wear it will be great to hear the Blitz boys sing and be back at Hednas again!

Today I have been rushing around as ever and I was back in the studio doing an interview on the Charles Haigh radio show this morning. Tomorrow I will be in Manchester and Thursday is just crazy. I have a dress fitting at 9.15am a music rehearsal at 10.15am in Bletchly. Then I head off to Dunstable to pick up my new SM beater radio mike. A show in Luton at 2pm before dashing back to Leighton Buzzard to be in the hair dresses for 4.15pm. Mad or What!
Friday I head off to Chatham so it really has been non-stop. In the mean time do check out my photos on my facebook fan page. Dave very kindly sent me the disk today of the Shuttleworth shoot and there are some really lovely ones there. Angela has also been e-mailing me the photos from the Earsham Hall shoot and when I get back from Chatham I will start to putting them up on Facebook for you all to see
