This last week and weekend I have spent nearly every hour of every day typing up contracts and working on clearing my desk of paper work. Not that I’m complaining but there are times when I just long to go somewhere other than to the gym and to my next show.
It was lovely to be on Alan’s radio show last Friday and well maybe I just long to go and do something which isn’t work related. It takes me ages to do the simplist of things due to my dislexia and I have to spend hours where perhaps someone eles may only take minutes. It’s not unsual for me to still be typing at 2 am in the morning and sometimes I just feel like I could do with a break which doesn’t invole me sitting in a hotel room doing my accounts. But then that’s show biz and you have to give up alot to do what I do – people don’t have a clue the amount of work which goes into a performance!.
The plus side is my wall planner is looking healthy and filling up daily so hard work always  pays off in the end. This week I’m doing the Swinging 50s and 60s with Valentine shows booked in for next week. I also have a driving course to do next Tuesday which I’m looking forward to doing as I think there is much I can learn.
