NEWS PAGE & BLOG

Hello one and all and welcome to my news page. Here you can see me as my two alter egos the ever efficient secretary Prudie Jones, Evette the Spivette and plain old little me as you catch up with all that is current in my world. Regrettably unlike Prudie my spelling is quite frightful at the best of times due to my dyslexia so I shall apologise now for anything which might be shamefully mis-spelt. In the mean time I hope you find this page fun, entertaining and informative and become a regular visitor to my site.

Kind Regards

Getting Ship Shape for the weekend!

Just a quick blog today as I’ve been getting everything ready for the weekend. This Saturday I shall be performing in Sandwich for their 1940s day so I hope you can make it along. I will be on stage with my WAAF show at 11am then a slight change of plan with my “Stars and Stripes” show at 12.45pm finnishing off with Lindy Hop as I join forces with the Cinque Ports Lindy Hoppers so it should be a really good day.
I had planed to do my Evette the Spivette show this weekend but the stage is a band stand with a promanard audience rather than a seated one. The Evette show tells a story so with the location I thought “Stars and Stripes” would work better as it’s real razamataz and more suited to a band stand! But don’t worry you will be able to see Evette at Sheringham on the 15th and 16th Sept and at Middlewich too on the 21st Sept. Do keep checking my blogs and facebook pages for the latest!
I was down in the recording studio yesterday picking up my Berlington Bertie track which just sounds fantastic thanks to Richard. The words are so clever and I have to say Burlington Bertie has to be one of the best Music Hall songs ever writain, I can’t waite to do the number and indeed launch my trouser Music Hall set which will be up and running next year – more details can be found on my web-site when we get the Music Hall page up so do keep watching as it wont be long now!
Tomorrow I’m down in Surrey meeting up with a film maker so I have lots of plans ahead. Thanks ever-so for dropping in and Bye for Now!
