NEWS PAGE & BLOG

Hello one and all and welcome to my news page. Here you can see me as my two alter egos the ever efficient secretary Prudie Jones, Evette the Spivette and plain old little me as you catch up with all that is current in my world. Regrettably unlike Prudie my spelling is quite frightful at the best of times due to my dyslexia so I shall apologise now for anything which might be shamefully mis-spelt. In the mean time I hope you find this page fun, entertaining and informative and become a regular visitor to my site.

Kind Regards

Back on the Radio!

Well it’s been a very busy week one way and another. I started back to work yesterday with my first show after my break and I was performing songs from the shows. You can’t really go wrong with musicals and I think last nights audiance would have been quite happy to have let me sung right through into the early hours. So thank-you Sheila for your lovely e-mail today I’m so pleased everyone enjoyed the show, it was a pleasure to sing for you all.
This week I have been working really hard to get all my contracts up to date and clear my desk of paper work as there is always much to do. I did a big mail shoot on Wednesday which is proving to be a great success. The phone has been red hot ever since and I’ve already sold over 170 dates for this year so lots more contracts to do. Nine dates have sold in the last 2 days and most of the prime dates like VE Day, St Georges Day, Easter and Trafelga Day have gone although I still have VJ Day 15th Aug and Battle of Britain Day 15th Sept available but not for long I exspect.
Today I spent my morning with the Leighton Buzzard womens group which was great fun and I read the ladies Maya Angelou’s poem “Still I Rise”. Every woman should have a copy! What a wonderful group and I look forward to meeting you all again soon so thank-you for inviting me!
This afternoon I was over in Luton on Alan Pagram’s radio show on L and D radio. Alan was very kind and we did the whole 2 hour program together. He played a real cross section of my music from “Diamonds are a Girls Best Friend” to “Ave Maria” so thank-you Alan for inviting me onto your show it was an honour!
Well must dash now as I need to do a few contracts before bed. Thanks for following and Toodle Pip!
