NEWS PAGE & BLOG

Hello one and all and welcome to my news page. Here you can see me as my two alter egos the ever efficient secretary Prudie Jones, Evette the Spivette and plain old little me as you catch up with all that is current in my world. Regrettably unlike Prudie my spelling is quite frightful at the best of times due to my dyslexia so I shall apologise now for anything which might be shamefully mis-spelt. In the mean time I hope you find this page fun, entertaining and informative and become a regular visitor to my site.

Kind Regards

Back from Filming!

Gosh it’s been a very full and productive day one way and another and I don’t mind admitting I’m a bit pooped! Today I’ve been working with a very talented film maker by the name of Andrew Elmslie. We have been filming my Christmas Video and Ave Maria at All Saints Church here in my home town of Leighton Buzzard. Now I know it seems a bit early to be thinking about Christmas 2013 when we have only just had 2012 – but now is the best time really as I’m always so busy come December and the church is still dressed with Christmas flowers! Ofcourse you will have to wait until November for my Christmas video but I will be releasing Ave Maria just as soon as we edit it.
Today was a bit of a special day one way and another as it was exactly a year today my God Mother died and I sung Ave Maria at her funeral in Portsmouth last January. So I hope Barbara was looking down listening!
I was very lucky to have the lovely Kim with me today doing sound who not only made me sound right but helped me in and out of my dresses and made sure everything was just spot on for the cameras. Being very modern she has posted up two photos from her phone onto my personal facebook page. I did try to share to my fan page but failed I’m afraid! As you see I’m not very modern and quite hopeless with anything tecnical but we can’t be good at everything and hopefuly I make up for it through the arts!
Today we were working off three cameras at a time so I’m sure we will have some great footage. I’m really pleased we have been able to catch Ave Maria as it is one of my favourite songs and sometimes it’s just nice to do something classical! So a big thank-you to every-one at All Saints church for letting us film today espesialy Lindsey and not forgetting Andrew and Kim ofcourse – Thank-you xx
Tomorrow it’s back to the office and I must get to grip with all my paper work as I have over 80 contracts to do and lots of e-mails to answer. I’m also looking forward to going out for a lovely long run too although it does seem a pitty to spoil my hair after Angela did such a good job. I usaly like to make it last the week!
Early to bed I think. Thanks for following and Toodle Pip! ;->
