Hello one and all – it’s been a busy weekend once again and it’s going to be another full week with shows everyday. I’ve just dashed back from doing a Pearly Queen show today and I have a few Well Meet Again ones planed this week together with a sing-along and glamour show – so no spare time this week!
It’s now full steam ahead with my new character Evette the Spivette and for those of you who get The Best of British magazine you can read a little bit about her in my Forties Fashion artical on page 38 and 39. I have taken a little bit of Marlene Dietrich a touch of Vivien Leigh’s Scarlet O’Hara, Joyce Grenfell mixed it all together and added some Marilyn Monroe sex appeal and hay presto I present Evette the Spivette. She will be making her debut at the Kent and East Sussex Railway’s 1940s event on the 19th and 20th May so I hope you can make it along!
In the mean time I’m full booked next week with Easter Bonnet shows right through and another photo shoot planed for the 14th April. This time I shall be going all Edwardian so do keep watching and toddle pip for now!

Oh what a day – there I was in Shefford all ready to spring to life with my We’ll Meet Again show and sure enough just when you think it’s safe to use modern tecknolagee it goes down! What a pain! It’s the second time it’s happend in as many shows – all the arrow keys and carmarnd buttons stop working!
Since I up dated from mini disk to Net Book and I Pad it’s been one night mere after another! Thank goodness I always carry back-up so back onto mini disk I went! There are times in a girls life when you feel the urge to use words which one really shouldn’t! Ahhhhhhhhh! (This is where I  leave it to you think about what you think I might have said but didn’t! )
Sometimes I feel so out of cink with the modern world!
Please please please Dr Who take me back to 1936 or even 1940 I think I would be so much more suited there!

Hello every-one I’m just learning how to blog and if all is going right this should be comming through to my face book page. No doult I’m making lots of mistakes but to all you computer  boffins out there maybe my mistakes will be more entertaining than the normal rubish I put up. So do watch and see how I pick up on this new modern world!

Now I’ve always had a bit of a thing for shoes. These ones are my favourites – they are original 1940s ones! The only snag is I can’t walk in them but then thats just a detail. Sadly I wont be wearing these to the dance on Sunday – but I do love them so! :->
A girl can never have too many pairs of shoes!
